1. Check and confirm whether the pump is installed solidly with the base, whether the pipeline installation is correct and whether the outlet pipeline is open or not. If no lubricating oil is provided, enough lubricating oil should be filled into the pump. The oil dosage of JXM-A type pumps is 650m and that of the JZM-A is about 3.2L. Users are suggested to better fill Mobil gear 600xp220.
2. It is strongly suggested not to operate the pump at a temperature lower than -10℃.
3.Put the flow adjusting handle at zero graduation before turning on the pump and check the inlet & outlet pipelines before adjusting the handle from zero to a higher graduation so as to ensure that all shut-off valves are open.
4. Start the metering pump and check whether the turning direction of the electric motor is the same as the arrowhead on the flange (observing from the vane wheel is clockwise). If the direction is incorrect, the connection method should be changed.
