The entire mesh, including the welded areas, is thoroughly sealed and protected against rust and corrosion. Because it is covered with so much more zinc than galvanized before welded wire (GBW), galvanized after welded wire (GAW) mesh and fence will last years longer. This mesh is particularly useful for animal cages and enclosures, or other applications where rust prevention and long life are desired.
