PRODUCT  DESCRIPTION   RS1 Spiral wound gasket is formed of V-shaped metallic strip and connected its end & beginning by DOT welded. Depend on its excellect compression resilience. It is suitable for sealing spots where the alteration of temperature and pressure are frequent. It can be used as the static sealing element of pipe, valve, pump, thermal, exchanger, condensing tower, plain hole and man hole of flange, etc. Please offer the detailed drawing, while the gasket is used in thermal exchange if it with some ribs.              Properties Spiral Wound Gaskets are suitable for use across a wide gasket stress range. Spiral Wound Gaskets can be used to seal fluid pressures up to 400 bar and from cryogenic temperatures up to 1000oC. Spiral Wound Gaskets are robust and simple to install. The outer guide ring simplifies assembly and prevents blowout of the gasket.   GASKET SELECTION   Style CG - Utilizes an external ring which accurately centers gasket on flange face, provides additional radial strength to prevent gasket blow-out and acts as a compression stop. A general purpose gasket suitable for use with flat face and raised face flanges up to and inclusive of class2500. Style CGI - A Style CG gasket fitted with internal ring which gives an additional compression limiting stop and provides heat and corrosion barrier protecting gasket windings and preventing flange erosion. Suitable for use with flat face and raised face flanges. Style R - Basic construction type. Inner and outer diameters are reinforced with several plies of metal without filler to give greater stability and better compression and sealing characteristics. Suitable for tongue and groove or male and female or grooved to flat face flange assemblies Style RIR - Solid inner metal ring acts as a compression stop and fills the annular space between flange bore and the inside diameter of the gasket. Designed to prevent accumulation of solids, reduce turbulent flow of process fluids and minimize erosion at flange faces.
