Metal Joint Closure, acid-proof joint closure, stainless steel joint closure     The universal joint closure KNC 10 is designed to provide pressure-tight environmental protection
for optical fibers and optical fiber splices, regardless of the cable design. Applications range from
aerial to buried installations. The closure has anchoring points for strength members and facilities
for the earthing of metallic elements. The splice organizer trays offer holders for splices and
sufficient room for spare fibers.
The closure is easily assembled and re-entered. It is available in five basic versions with two, three
or four cable entrances. Special branch joint closures and extension collars for more cable outlets
are also available. Closures can be delivered as complete installation packages for up to 192 fibers.
E.g. KNC 10307A-24P includes materials for jointing two 24 fiber cables.

As the closure is made of acid-proof stainless steel and it is watertight, it
can be installed in harsh and corrosive environments without any additional
